J landed an $80k/month ecom client

A student of mine J just landed client #1.

An ecom company in the beauty niche doing $80k/month.

And J signed them on a JUICY 15% email revenue share deal.

That means if he makes them $40k/month in revenue this November for Black Friday, he’ll take home $6,000.

The crazy part?

This client hasn’t sent a single email yet (and they’re on pace to make $960k/year).

My eyes widened when he told me how much revenue they’re doing without email.

“Dude. YOU’RE going to make thousands in the first month.”

He asked why.

“The average business makes an extra 20% revenue when they introduce email. And Black Friday is right around the corner.”

So he set up some automations, pop up signup forms, and broadcast emails.

Slowly warming up the list.

Within the first 2 weeks of a basic email set up, he’s already generating $1/subscriber.

He’s barely sending to 10% of the list and making hundreds per send.

So when J cranks things up to the full email list (of 10,000 subscribers)…

AND with Black Friday right around the corner.

He’s on pace to make at least $3,000-$7,000 in his first 45 days with this client.

And that’s just ONE client.

His FIRST client.

After working with me for ONE month.

You might be thinking, ‘Well, he’s probably an insanely skilled copwriter. That’s why he’s successful.”

But no offence to J, but he’s no A-list copywriter (and neither am I).

Sure, we worked on his copy skills, and got him GOOD enough…

But that’s not why he’s on pace to replace his 9 to 5 income by December.

Here’s the problem with most new copywriters (trying to make $10-15k/month):

Most of them are caught up chasing broke prospects who have no ability to pay big.

And they think they need 6-12 months of training to be “good enough” to get results.

But this couldn’t be further from the truth.

It’s because he put himself in front of prospects with MONEY.

And he proved he’s trustworthy and will get them results.

They already built a rocket ship that can fly. All he had to do was bring some fuel to help them fly faster and further.

It’s the same reason I was able to go from zero to $9,000/month in my first 12 months as a copywriter (and $10-$15k months since).

When you focus on building the skill of targeting rich business owners…

And you get your copy skills to be good enough…

Only then will you be able to create a money printer for yourself.

Step 1: Learn copy, specialize into one type, and find your niche to outreach to.

Step 2: Learn how to look for MONEY signals showing you prospects are making $50,000+ per month in revenue.

Step 3: Warm them up on socials and then drop a free audit and copy sample proving you know what you’re doing.

Step 4: Get paid and then do whatever you want in life.

P.S. Are you struggling to take your copywriting business off the ground?

Not sure how to get started, don’t know how to land your first client, or are you just stuck trying to break through the $5k/month mark and hit your first $10k?

The problem is you’re trying to be a lone wolf copywriter.

Trying to just “figure it out” on your own.

But that’s a surefire way to waste another 6-12 months…

Meanwhile other copywriters like J are landing their first clients (and making thousands of dollars) in weeks.

If you want fast results like my student, J…

Then join the waitlist for my new online school for copywriters, the Six-Figure Copy Academy.

It launches November 3 (in just 13 days).

And it will be your roadmap to your first $10k month as a copywriter.

But, remember, there are only 100 spots total. And 20 earlybird spots are already gone).
