How I close 80% of clients on calls
Last week a new copywriter asked me a question.
It’s a question I get asked at least once a week.
It’s about sales calls.
He asked, “Do I really have to do sales calls?”
“Can’t I just DM them to close them?”
Yeah you can.
If you’re okay with making $500/month.
Trust me, I get it.
I was scared of sales calls as a new copywriter too. I completely avoided them for the first 6 months. But I was also stuck at under $1,000/month…
Until I put my big boy pants on and learned HOW to do them.
Next month, I closed my biggest client to date: $3,400. Made $5k that month.
Then I made over $7k.
Then $9k. Then $10k. And so on.
If you want to convince internet strangers to hand over thousands of dollars to YOU (an internet stranger to them)…
You have to be willing to get on a call.
Thankfully, you don’t have to be left scratching your head wondering how to do it.
Getting good at sales calls is the same as riding a bike. It’s a skill. Anyone can learn it.
My approach is asking the same 5 core questions every time… And it gets me a nearly ~80% close rate.
My 800+ students get 70-80% with this same strategy.
